Patrick I.N. Ikwueto, SAN, FCIArb (UK), Lead Partner
Graduate of the University of Nigeria and called to the Nigeria Bar in 1985. Admitted to the Inner Bar as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria on September 13, 2004. Mr. Ikwueto attended the Hague Academy of International Law and was amongst the Faculty of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators for the 2005 session of the Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration at Keble College Oxford.
After successfully completing the mandatory requirements, Mr. Ikwueto was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales on 2nd April 2007.
He has attended over 25 International Conferences on a wide range of issues relating to dispute resolution and economic development. He is widely travelled and has visited major countries of the world.
He is a member of several International bodies including the International Bar Association, (IBA) London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Institute of Directors. He was listed in internationally acclaimed directories MARTINDALE-HUBBELL, INTERNATIONAL DISPUTE RESOLUTION DIRECTORY, The IGBO ICON etc.
He was appointed the Lawyer of Confidence of the Embassy of Switzerland in Nigeria and in that capacity actively involves in the promotion of Swiss Business in Nigeria.
Mr. Ikwueto has been involved in a considerable number of landmark cases and taken part in high profile commercial transactions.
Mr. Ikwueto has published several articles and has served as resource person for major International Conferences.
Mr. Ikwueto is keenly interested in football and lawn tennis but has a passion for Formula 1.
